About the ADEO OnSuperior

ADEO OnSuperior solves two common problems with roll-up screens: ripples in the fabric and an image hung too high. The FTS tensioning system with a double bottom bar pulls the fabric both vertically and horizontally, so the surface stays flat even with ALR and acoustic fabrics. The black top drop can be ordered from 5 to 140 cm, letting you lower the image to the audience even with a very tall wall or ceiling. Image width ranges from 2 to 4.5 m, and aspect ratios go up to cinema 2.40:1. This is a screen for demanding projection at home and in prestigious rooms.

FTS tensioning and construction

OnSuperior has a double bottom bar with two weights. One tensions the fabric vertically, the other – connected to the side cables – keeps it flat horizontally. The result is a surface free of the ripples that are most visible on roll-up screens in bright scenes and with short-throw projectors.

When rolled up, the bar closes the case and protects the fabric from dust. Finish: 5 cm black border or a borderless tensioned version. The aluminium case is white as standard, optionally a RAL colour.

Fabrics and aspect ratios

Aspect ratios: 4:3, 16:10, 16:9, 2.35:1 and 2.40:1, image width from 2 to 4.5 m.

  • Ambient Grey 2 (gain 0.9, ALR) – rejects ambient light, for standard and short-throw projectors,
  • Reference Grey 2 (0.5) and Ambient Grey (0.6) – for light-coloured walls and UST projectors,
  • Reference White 2 (0.9), Vision White (1.2), Vision White Pro (temporarily unavailable) (0.9),
  • acoustic Reference White 2 Acoustik, Reference Grey 2 Acoustik and Vision Acoustik,
  • Vision Rear DB – front and rear projection.

Installation and control

The screen is mounted on the wall or ceiling. An optional version with a case and quick-mount brackets (white only) shortens installation. The black top drop is ordered from 5 to 140 cm in 5 cm steps – the solution for rooms with high ceilings, churches and council chambers.

  • motor on the right as standard, optionally on the left,
  • option: IO-homecontrol motor with a radio receiver and remote control,
  • back roll or Reverse Roll.

Who this screen is for

OnSuperior is chosen by home-cinema owners who want a flat fabric without giving up a roll-up screen. It is also a screen for boardrooms and prestigious interiors, and for rooms with high ceilings where the image has to be brought down to the audience. It works well with 4K projectors and – with the right grey fabric – with ultra-short-throw projectors. Configure the size and fabric – you will see the price straight away.

ADEO OnSuperior – questions

How does FTS tensioning differ from classic tensioners?

FTS has a double bottom bar: one weight tensions the fabric vertically, the other, with the side cables, horizontally. As a result, tension in each direction is independent and the surface stays flat.

How low can I bring the image with a high ceiling?

The black top drop is ordered from 5 to 140 cm in 5 cm steps. According to the manufacturer, the centre of the image should be no more than approx. 15° above the eye line of the nearest viewer.

Which fabric should I choose for an ultra-short-throw projector?

Reference Grey 2 or Ambient Grey. Ambient Grey 2 is intended for standard and short-throw projectors only.

Is OnSuperior available in 1:1?

No. The available aspect ratios are 4:3, 16:10, 16:9, 2.35:1 and 2.40:1.
