How is a tensioned in-ceiling screen different from a standard one?
Both disappear into a suspended ceiling, but the side-tensioned version keeps the fabric flat over its full height – no waves at the edges. This matters with 4K projectors, ALR fabrics and large images.
Which fabric should I choose for a tensioned in-ceiling screen?
In bright rooms Ambient Grey 2 (ALR) works well – only with standard and short-throw projectors. For UST projectors choose Reference Grey 2 or Ambient Grey. If speakers stand behind the screen, you need an acoustic fabric.
Which sizes are available?
The Inceel Tensio version is 1.8–4 m wide, the InSuperior 2–4.5 m and the Max Inceel 4.68–6.5 m. Every screen is made to measure.
