Why the ADEO InSuperior

Flat surface

The Floating Tensio double bottom bar tensions the fabric vertically and horizontally.

About the ADEO InSuperior

ADEO InSuperior is a motorised screen for installation in a suspended ceiling, fitted with Floating Tensio tensioning. It solves two problems at once: the case disappears into the ceiling, and the fabric stays flat across the entire surface. A long black top drop lets you lower the image to a comfortable height even in tall rooms. Thanks to the tensioning, the screen works well with ALR and acoustic fabrics, which need a flat surface. It is the choice for prestigious conference rooms, boardrooms and home cinemas where the screen should be invisible when rolled up.

Floating Tensio tensioning

InSuperior has a double bottom bar with two weights. One tensions the fabric vertically, the other – connected to the side cables – keeps it flat horizontally. Tension can be fine-tuned during installation. The result is an even, ripple-free surface, which shows especially in dark scenes and with low-gain fabrics.

  • Finish: Floating Tensio with a 5 cm black border or a white border.
  • Black top drop from 5 to 140 cm.
  • The bottom bar closes the case when rolled up and protects the fabric from dust.

Fabrics and aspect ratios

Image width: from 2 to 4.5 m. Aspect ratios: 4:3, 16:10, 16:9, 2.35:1 and 2.40:1.

  • Vision White (gain 1.2) and Vision White Pro (temporarily unavailable) (gain 0.9, black back) – conference rooms.
  • Reference White 2 (0.9) and Reference Grey 2 (0.5) – home cinema; the grey also for UST projectors.
  • Ambient Grey 2 (0.9) and Ambient Grey (0.6) – ALR for rooms with bright surroundings.
  • Acoustic fabrics: Reference White 2 Acoustik, Reference Grey 2 Acoustik, Vision Acoustik.
  • Vision Rear DB – projection from the front or rear.

Case and installation

The case is lightweight with a white, embossed surface. The side cover is held on by magnets, which makes servicing easier. The screen is suspended from the structural ceiling on 8 threaded rods of 50 cm each, and trim caps finish the plasterboard around the case. The motor is mounted on the right-hand side.

Options: IO-homecontrol® motor with a radio receiver, front roll and Reverse Roll. The screen can be controlled by remote, wall switch, a 12 V trigger from the projector or the room control system.

Who this screen is for

InSuperior is a screen for interiors where the image must be flat and the equipment invisible. It is ideal for boardrooms and council chambers, prestigious conference rooms and premium home cinemas with a suspended ceiling. The long black top drop is particularly useful in rooms with high ceilings: the image starts at eye level and viewers do not have to tilt their heads back. Set the size, aspect ratio and fabric in the configurator.

ADEO InSuperior – questions

Why does an in-ceiling screen need tensioning?

Tensioners keep the fabric flat across its full width. This matters with ALR and acoustic fabrics and with projectors that accentuate ripples in the material.

How long can the black top drop be?

On InSuperior, from 5 to 140 cm. This means the image starts at a comfortable height even in rooms with high ceilings.

Can I choose an ALR fabric?

Yes. Ambient Grey 2 and Ambient Grey are available. Ambient Grey 2 is intended for standard and short-throw projectors, while Ambient Grey is also suitable for UST.

Is InSuperior suitable for a home cinema?

Yes, if the living room has a suspended ceiling. For a cinema, consider Reference White 2 or an acoustic fabric so you can hide the speakers behind the screen.
