Frequently asked questions about the configurator and buying a screen
How much does a made-to-measure projection screen cost?
ADEO screens in our configurator start from 1 394 PLN incl. VAT. A 120″ 16:9 motorised screen typically costs a few thousand złoty; fixed-frame screens, Tensio tensioned screens and screens with ALR fabrics cost more. You will see the exact price for your size, aspect ratio and fabric in the configurator straight away – no need to send an enquiry.
How do I choose the right screen size for my room?
In a home cinema, the image height is roughly the distance from the sofa divided by 2.5 (4K, Full HD) or 3.3 (HD). From 3.5 m, an image about 1.4 m high works well – a 110–120″ 16:9 screen. In presentation rooms, the image height is the distance to the back row divided by 6, or by 4 for small text.
How does a Tensio screen differ from a standard motorised screen?
In a Tensio screen, cables along the sides tension the fabric so it stays perfectly flat – no waves or curling at the edges. It is the best choice for 4K projectors, home cinema, ALR and acoustic fabrics. Tensio versions are available for Basic, Rugby Pro, Rugby Plus, Inceel, OnSuperior and InSuperior.
Which aspect ratio should I choose: 16:9 or 2.35:1?
16:9 is the format of TV, series, sport, games and most projectors – the most versatile choice. 2.35:1 (Scope) shows cinema films without black bars, but 16:9 content fills it only partially. The configurator also offers 16:10, 4:3, 1:1 and custom formats.
Is a fixed-frame screen better than a motorised one?
A fixed-frame screen gives the flattest surface and the best image for a reasonable price – ideal when the screen can stay on the wall permanently. A motorised screen retracts into its case when you are not watching, and an in-ceiling screen disappears completely. Tensio versions combine retraction with a flat fabric.
When do I need a grey ALR fabric?
When there is light from windows or lamps in the room. A grey ALR fabric reflects the projector's light towards the viewer and suppresses light from the sides, giving better contrast. In a darkened cinema room, a reference white works best.
How do I order a screen online and how long does it take?
Configure your screen, add it to the cart and pay via Przelewy24 (BLIK, card, bank transfer), in instalments or by leasing. Schools and public institutions can pay by bank transfer with 14-day payment terms. ADEO screens are made to measure, and we confirm the delivery date once the order is placed. We ship anywhere in Poland at no extra transport cost.
Can I order a screen in a non-standard size?
Yes. Every ADEO screen is made to order – you enter any width and the configurator prices it at the nearest larger size in the manufacturer's price list. In the home cinema configurator you can also set a custom aspect ratio.
Can you help me choose a projector for the screen?
Yes. Below the cart there is a projector selection form: enter your preferred brand, budget and use, and we will prepare a proposal. You can send it with your screen order or separately – it does not hold up the screen purchase.
Do the screens come with a warranty, and can you install them?
ADEO screens are covered by the manufacturer's warranty, and ABC Prezentacji provides service and technical support. We do not install screens. Your screen is best fitted by an experienced installer, and the power connection (motorised screens) should be made by an electrician. Every screen comes with the manufacturer's mounting instructions, and before you order we will advise you on how to prepare the site – the ceiling recess, power supply and control.
