About the ADEO Cinema Curved
ADEO Cinema Curved is a fixed-frame cinema screen with a curved surface and an image width from 7 to 23 m. The curve brings the edges of the image closer to the audience. With wide formats and large rooms, this helps keep focus and brightness even from the centre to the edges. Each screen is made to measure for a specific room, with a fabric chosen for the conditions: acoustic when the speakers stand behind the screen, or grey when there is light in the room. The kit includes the structural and mounting components needed for installation. It is a solution for cinemas, theatres, auditoriums and large AV installations.
Curved cinema screen construction
Cinema Curved is a curved frame on which the fabric is tensioned. At this scale the surface always has vertical welded seams, which is typical of cinema screens well over ten metres wide. The radius of the curve and the frame geometry are determined by the dimensions of the specific room.
The kit contains everything needed to assemble and mount the screen:
- steel frame connectors and corners,
- wall brackets and stiffeners,
- M8 bolts,
- elastic tensioners and fabric corners.
Fabrics and aspect ratios
The full range of Adeo surfaces is available for Cinema Curved. For rooms with speakers behind the screen, choose an acoustic fabric: Vision Macro Acoustik (1.3 mm perforation), which the manufacturer specifies for cinemas and theatres, or Vision Acoustik. Where the room lighting stays on, grey and ALR fabrics help, e.g. Reference Grey 2 (gain 0.5) or Ambient Grey (gain 0.6).
Aspect ratios: 1.78:1, 1.89:1, 2.35:1, 2.37:1, 2.39:1 and 2.40:1. The 1.89:1 ratio is close to the 1.90:1 cinema container, but it should not be treated as a DCI format without checking the requirements of the projection system.
Delivery and project delivery
Shipping anywhere in Poland comes at no extra transport cost. The packaging is designed for the model, and every Adeo screen carries a CE declaration.
For cinemas, cultural institutions and businesses, ABC Prezentacji advises on preparing the site; fitting is done by an experienced installation team. We also handle public procurement and tenders. With a screen of this size, it is worth agreeing the wall dimensions, projector position and sound system layout with us in advance.
Who is this screen for
Cinema Curved is chosen by venues where the image should surround the viewer: widescreen cinema auditoriums, immersive rooms, simulators and large AV installations in cultural venues. Curvature makes most sense with widescreen formats, where the edges of a flat screen would be noticeably further from the audience than its centre.
If the seating is arranged in straight rows and the format is 16:9, the flat Cinema model is usually sufficient. You can put together the aspect ratio, width and fabric in the configurator on the model page.
