About the ADEO Rugby Plus
ADEO Rugby Plus is a motorised screen where refinement and finish come first. Milled aluminium side end caps joined with magnets conceal the roller and motor, while Quiet Rolling rubber sleeves silence the unrolling. The Auto Adjustment microswitch always stops the bottom bar in exactly the same place, so the rolled-up screen looks neat. The model covers widths from 1.58 to 4.5 m, aspect ratios up to 2.40:1 and nine fabrics, including acoustic Reference White 2 and Reference Grey 2. A great choice for a living room with a projector and for rooms where the screen is part of the décor.
Construction and mechanism
Rugby Plus has two-part milled aluminium end caps joined with magnets. They conceal the roller and motor, so the screen looks tidy from every side.
- Quiet Rolling – rubber sleeves between the case and the roller reduce noise,
- Softend Lowbar – soft seals on the bottom bar,
- Auto Adjustment – a microswitch always stops the bar in the same position,
- automatic bottom-bar lock that closes the case and protects the fabric from dust.
For widths above 2.5 m the fabric rolls onto a 90 mm diameter roller.
Fabrics and aspect ratios
Aspect ratios: 1:1, 4:3, 16:10, 16:9, 2.35:1 and 2.40:1, image width from 1.58 to 4.5 m. Finishes: borderless, 5 or 7 cm black border or Tensio Classic with a 5 cm or 7 cm border, or borderless.
- Reference White 2 (gain 0.9) – a reference white for controlled lighting,
- Reference Grey 2 (0.5) – deeper blacks with light-coloured walls, also with UST projectors,
- Ambient Grey 2 (0.9, ALR) and Ambient Grey (0.6) – for rooms with bright surroundings,
- acoustic Reference White 2 Acoustik, Reference Grey 2 Acoustik and Vision Acoustik,
- Vision White (1.2) and Vision Rear DB for front and rear projection.
Installation and control
The case is fixed to the wall or ceiling with SuperQuick brackets, from the front or the back. It is white as standard, or optionally matt black or a RAL colour. With Tensio versions you can order a black top drop of 5 to 45 cm – useful in rooms with higher ceilings.
The motor is on the right as standard, optionally on the left. The IO-homecontrol option adds a radio receiver and remote control. The fabric rolls out at the back, at the front or in a Reverse Roll configuration.
Who this screen is for
Rugby Plus is a screen for the home: the living room, media room and home cinema, where the screen should run quietly and look good when rolled up. With an acoustic fabric you can place speakers behind the screen, and with grey Reference Grey 2 you get deeper blacks despite light walls. ADEO Rugby Plus – questions
Is Rugby Plus suitable for a home cinema?
Yes. The screen runs quietly and you can choose from reference, grey and acoustic fabrics. For ALR fabrics, choose the Tensio Classic version.
Can I hide the speakers behind the screen?
Yes, with Reference White 2 Acoustik, Reference Grey 2 Acoustik or Vision Acoustik fabric. They have 0.5 mm perforations that let the sound through.
Does the screen work with an ultra-short-throw projector?
For a UST projector, choose the Tensio version with Reference Grey 2 or Ambient Grey fabric. Ambient Grey 2 is not intended for UST projectors.
Can the case be black?
Yes, a matt black case is available as an option. You can also order a RAL colour.
